Collection of material and host families
We launch this first campaign to collect material and host families
From Scouts of Ukraine in Spain, based in Valencia at Calle Marqués de San Juan 13, 46035 Valencia, they ask us:
Families that can host mothers and children who are going to meet their host families for a few days.
Medicines and sanitary supplies
Adult and children diapers.
Compresses and Tampax.
Bed soakers.
Easy open food cans.
All the collected material will be taken to the Polish border in minibuses, buses and vans which will then bring to the refugee families and there the Scouts (Plast) from Ukraine will distribute them in war zone and refugee camps.
With a little from each of us, we can do a lot.
One day you have your life on track and the next....
The material we can send is just as important as the support we can give them from our homes and our families, and we large families are experts in this area.
They leave behind lives like the ones we families have today here in Spain, with their daily worries of work, school or how to make ends meet, and suddenly everything changes, the children leave their friends and schools, they are taken away from the security of their home and what is worse, they leave behind their parents, siblings, grandparents, not knowing when they will return or if they will ever see them again.
We can't even imagine what they are going through, but we can make their pain more bearable; either with the materials they need in their country or by giving them the shelter we can in our homes.

On March 30, we will bring all the material collected, and we will give them the list of host families, and they will contact you depending on the needs of that moment.
Upcoming material collection campaigns.
Unfortunately with time the news disappears, not so long ago it was Afghanistan, or closer to home, the island of La Palma and its volcano.
For this reason, ASFANA Familias Numerosas will launch again, if necessary, this campaign in June.
